Your dedication and support is replacing open cooking fires in Latin America. Whether entering data, organizing the office, reaching out to local businesses, tabling at outreach events or distributing stoves, you commit your time, skills and passion to helping to ensure safe alternative cooking technologies are available to those in need!
Here is what some of our volunteers have to say about why they support StoveTeam:
“What I love about StoveTeam is that it’s a win, win, win project: It vastly improves the health of families, it reduces deforestation, and it supports local economies by providing jobs and using local vendors for materials and supplies. I love the collaborative effort in working with like-minded people on the team trips, as well as the local factory staff.”
- Susie, Volunteer and Board Member
“I love StoveTeam because it has not only given me a wonderful community in Eugene [Oregon] of thoughtful and driven people, but it has allowed me to make connections with amazing people in Latin America. “
- Lexi, Volunteer and Intern
"After the election I felt the need to volunteer more than I had been doing. I've long been a supporter of Stove Team and feel that it helps with issues around climate change as well as contributing to the betterment of people's lives."
- Anita, Volunteer
