Headquartered in Antigua, Guatemala
Our office in Antigua, Guatemala serves as the central hub for overseeing stove production in Guatemala and neighboring countries, specifically El Salvador and Nicaragua.
The headquarters in Antigua is home to a dedicated and passionate team that is crucial in supporting various programs. Our main focus in Guatemala is placing stoves in communities. To support this effort, we have team members who are dedicated to making stove kits, training stove builders, supervising building projects, surveying stove installations for quality, and working with program participants on adoption.
In addition to stove kit production, our Guatemalan office leads an adoption program that promotes the widespread use of Justa cookstoves in indigenous communities across Guatemala. Our adoption team engages with stove recipients to educate and facilitate the adoption of these stoves, ensuring the continued use of our Justa cookstoves and the sustainability of our Justa stove program.
We place great importance on assessing the impact of our initiatives, ensuring that the stoves are making a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve. Because of this, our headquarters also carries out our monitoring and evaluation initiatives. The team conducts thorough evaluations to gather data, measure stove performance, evaluate carbon reduction, and assess the overall impact on the environment and community health.
